My Favorite things

I love music, have busked, and perform at many different venues around town. My two favorite songs to play on acoustic are I Miss You by Ichika Nito and G.O.A.T. by Polyphia.

I live for Nashville”s maker spaces. The best part for me is designing and making things that solve problems. 

Lately, in COVID-19 world,  I have been enjoying cruising around my neighborhood on my one-wheel or masking up to get a boba tea with my Dad.

This is a hard book to read but a must for anyone concerned about the threat of artificial intelligence.

This timely work by Yuval Noah Harari calls attention to people's ability to see the truth and protect themselves from negative outcomes by differentiating real and fake news. 

In this novel by Malcolm Gladwell, Gladwell shares common assumptions about success. I for one could relate to what is written about challenges younger students face versus those born earlier in a class year. 

A super great read in 2020! The Tipping Point focuses on how ideas spread like epidemics where  ‘elements need to come together to help an idea reach the point of critical mass, where its viral effect becomes unstoppable.‘

This was the first book series I completed. Never got around to Harry Potter.

Politics to science and art = The Economist. Yes, please. This magazine is great for learning about global politics or major findings in science and breakthroughs in technology.
