Sebastian Soto, Nashville, TN
I am a high school senior residing in Nashville, TN. As a whole-brain thinker, I possess a contagious passion for economics, the humanities, music, entrepreneurship, and technology. I am the Founder of FutureCreator, a nonprofit organization empowering students to pursue their academic and personal goals regardless of financial situation, location, or learning ability. Having tackled my own startups, I aspire to obtain a master's degree in business, ultimately launching a social enterprise powered by technology. I also enjoy music performance, touring with The School of Rock, and playing venues large and small around the United States.
I possess a sharp eye for identifying problems people face, using first principles thinking to reason down to essential truths. I can fully leverage my inclinations, stretch my thinking when necessary, and adapt to and take advantage of the preferences of those around me to improve performance and outcomes.
I look forward to college and being part of a community that believes in science, diversity, and responsible leadership. I want to align myself with a school I believe in and where I can create positive change. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on new challenges.
